Nedra's Story

Nedra, a native of eastern North Carolina, has always loved learning about the human body. As an adolescent, she would watch programs and read books geared toward the sciences. Then, at a young age, Nedra experienced a medical emergency. One nurse, in particular, showed Nedra compassion, patience, and empathy during this uncertain time in her life. Nedra knew she wanted to emulate this in her career. As a result, she chose nursing as her career path.

Nursing was an excellent fit for Nedra’s personality and willingness to help others. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Using her skills and education, Nedra worked in different areas of nursing but loved the fast pace and patient acuity of the Surgical/Trauma ICU.

After over a decade of working in intensive care, Nedra decided to advance her career. She attended Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia/UNC Greensboro and graduated with a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia in 2015. Her career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist has been very fulfilling. She has performed anesthesia on a multitude of Wake County residents. In addition, Nedra has enjoyed working alongside many excellent anesthesia providers, surgical teams, and physicians in her community.

With her education and experience, Nedra is ready to participate in a movement to improve her community’s mental and physical well-being. Revitalist’s mission and vision are evidence-based and have helped heal countless individuals. Nedra is very enthusiastic about bringing Revitalist to the Triangle and is excited to offer support to its residents.

Nedra likes to travel, sing, dance, and spend time with family and friends in her spare time.
